Elevated plot in popular road with fantastic vies across the bay. Bettys Bay is a small town on the south coast SOUTH AFRICA, just off the GARDEN ROUTE and one of seven towns, making up THE CAPE WHALE COAST. It is situated between Pringle Bay to the north east and Kleinmond to the south east on the way to Hermanus & passing ARABELLA SPA & HOTEL & GOLF ESTATE. It boasts the world renown HAROLD PORTER BOTANICAL GARDENS together with the KOEGELBERG ...BIOSPHERE which has international status & recognition. During WW2, the Italian prisoners of war worked on the road btw Rooiels & Bettys Bay, honing the road which today boasts one the most scenic drives in RSA. Arthur Youldon’ daughter gave her name to Bettys Bay and her home still stands in its original state close to the botanical gardens and boasts a beautiful garden which is lovingly tended by the same owner for the past 45 years. On the Silversands dunes, there are the ruins of the sentinel outposts which served as lookouts & were of strategic military importance during the war years to alert the military to the ever present U BOATS.
